I’m Jyotishman Das, co-founder of Sentrix Robotics Pvt. Ltd. We’re a government-recognised deep-tech company, backed by IIMA Ventures, building XR interfaces, embedded systems and hardware for how people and machines touch.

I started my first company at eighteen and filed my first patent in freshman year. At VIT Chennai I founded Team Genesis, fifty-five people building humanoid robots. I’ve pitched to PSLV directors and sat in CEO roundtables I technically wasn’t invited to.

I don’t wait for the right moment.
I build until the moment arrives.

Apr 2025 → Now Team Genesis, VIT Chennai ↗ Founding Captain VIT Chennai’s first dedicated humanoid robotics special team. I lead a multidisciplinary crew of 55 working on human–machine interaction.

I didn’t set out to build a startup.

I set out to build the suit.

Not as a fantasy. As a system:

exoskeletons, haptic interfaces,

machines you control with a gesture,

hardware that moves at the speed of intent.

I grew up on sci-fi, AI suits and wormholes,

and decided early I wouldn’t just watch.

I’d build it.

Take what’s locked away in labs,

the classified-level capability,

and bring it into the real world.

Doors don’t open because I asked.

They open because I already belong inside.
